Innovative Learning for Independent Thinkers
At Research Triangle High School, we prepare students for a fast-paced world powered by science, technology, engineering, and math—while celebrating creativity, the arts, and the humanities as engines of innovation. Our courses, including senior-year physics, introduce students to every corner of STEM and provide a strong foundation that prepares them for studying those fields at universities as well as going into traditional and new-wave STEM careers.
With engaging electives like Science & Photography, Cosplay, Tech Theater, Yearbook, Senior Arts Lab, Sports Medicine, and Forensics, and a robust student-led culture of leadership, exploration, and celebrating successes, our students gain experience at being members of a dynamic and collaborative society.
We build on the foundations of these classes with innovative teaching methods from our 21st-century professionals, using project-based learning and flipped-classroom techniques to encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application. Graduates leave RTHS with the skills, curiosity, and confidence to intentionally shape their futures.
